Une des forces du World Energy Council est son réseau international couvrant plus de 100 pays et constitué de comités nationaux, dont le Conseil Français de l’Énergie.
Faire vivre cette communauté internationale, c’est aussi créer des espaces de dialogue direct avec des experts issus de régions différentes afin de croiser regards et points de vue sur une même thématique.
Dans cette perspective, nous avons le plaisir d’inviter nos membres au prochain World Energy Café, co-organisé par les comités japonais et français du World Energy Council le mardi 25 mars de 10h30 à 11h45, heure de Paris, sur le thème : « Powering the Future: How Demand-Side Flexibility can Transform Energy Systems ».

The rapid expansion of renewable energy has put significant pressure on grid capacity, creating bottlenecks that pose challenges to the energy transition in many regions. Demand-side flexibility is emerging as a game-changer, driven by the electrification of demand — powered by electric vehicles, heat pumps, energy storage, and other innovative solutions.
By engaging cross-sectoral and cross-regional experts, we aim to explore the challenges and opportunities of implementing demand-side flexibility, which can help reduce grid costs, enhance resilience, improve consumer experiences, and more.
